VHS to DVD Services

After a clearout, I've found a bunch of VHS tapes that I want to transfer to DVD, A quick search on the web and found loads of companies offering a transfer service, went this route because I just don't want the hassle of doing myself. i.e Capture cards, VHS player too much hassle.

So has anyone had any experience of using any transfer companies i.e Boots, Snappy Snaps, etc???

If the content of the tapes has any value at all, do NOT send them all off at once to a remote transfer service. One at a time.
