Tesco value plain flour - 40p/kg, 4.03kWh/kg, 10p/kWh.
Tesco pure vegetable oil 3l - 1.40/l, 9kWh/l, 15p/kWh
Britannia Beef Dripping - 1.44/kg, 10kWh/kg, 14p/kWh
I found the above amusing, for comparison purposes.
I note that the vegetable oil is considerably cheaper than the kerosene heaters some have mentioned recently.
The oils in the above list would be quite simple to burn - but how would you go about designing a flour burner?

Flour burner - very carefully - get it wrong and you get flour dust in air which is rather explosive!Adventure before Dementia!0
