OMG i never i was going to do it and whats wrong with getting a loan for a car for 20k when i can afford the repayments , i also get another 20k a year in bonuses which i dont declare you need to get into the real world nobody cares .

Well how much do you earn? £55k or £35k?

Borrowing £20k is spending someone elses money and if you want to borrow their money you will need to jump through their hoops. One of which is not lying on application forms.

Off topic but -
I don't think its anything like 90% of all cars on the road. I understood that its something like 2/3 of new cars, but of course those new cars only make up a minority of cars on the road. Given the average life span of a car and of finance deals then I'd be surprised if more than 25% of cars on the road are leased or have financed secured against them.
