Although you don't need gaming machine, the first AMDI machine is quite good as the component they list are from good quality manufacture. They have a slight cheaper one with 7750.

I agree with Closed, your hardware is not causing the problems you describe so throwing money at it will only solve them temporarily. Have you followed the advice in the 2nd sticky?0

I recently bought a used Dell Optiplex P4 machine on Ebay for the princely sum of £26 plus delivery and its great. Its my backup machine whilst i do open heart micro surgery on my Tosh lappy which has snapped its hinges...Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

For £500 you might be able to stretch to a custom PC with SSD. I've just upgraded to SSDs and I could never go back to standard hard disks (and I had WD velociraptors before and they're not slow).0

Another option may be to sell the vouchers on to someone else so you have money available and therefore a wider choice of computers available.0
