Home Insurance when Selling

Hi All
I am thinking about selling my house and I wondered if I need to tell my Home Insurer that the property will be for sale. If I do this, what impact will it have on my premium.
If my exchange takes place in March 2013 and my insurance ends in February 2013, how do I cover the remaining month if I intend to move into rented?

They don't need to know its up for sale.
Renew your policy in Feb then change the cover to your new address when the need arises. If you are getting new quotes in Feb, try both addresses to make sure you choose an insurer that will insure both addresses.0
