Lost Insurance Policy

My father in law left an insurance policy to once of his grandsons but we have been unable to locate it or the company. Is there any way we can do so like the account finder?

Have you looked at the bank statements to see his direct debits?

I think you mean an Assurance policy? Either that or a Death policy that paid out to cover limited funeral expenses. Without paperwork, you really are whistling in the wind as there is no central register. The policyholder needs to ensure the documents are kept safe.
