Finding out who registered a death? Where buried etc

My nan has found out her brother died in 2004 & wants to find out who registered the death & where he is buried etc as he had no-one else & had lost touch with her.

Is there a way of looking at the register?

Hi zoeleigh, I don't know mucjh about geneology but I know that if she knows the place of death (which county he lived in when he died) she can contact the local register office in that area and give the full name and they can trace the certificate for her.

If she doesn't know the county the general register office/national office of statistics might be able to help her.
