how do i install vista & xp into a multiboot on my 40GB external usb HDD?

how do i set it to boot?

    It looks as if you can now boot XP from an external drive - see

    However, it would seem that you would really need to do this, looking at the anguish in some of the posts in the forum that is linked at the bottom of that page.

    As far as I am aware, Vista will happily co-exist with XP on an external drive.

    Just trying to think why you would want to do this.:confused:
    Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

    I use Acronis Disk Director which usually gets 5-stars in reviews. It has a boot menu etc and will make your life very much easier when it comes to having multiple OS's. It's probably around £25 - you can download it from their site ( acronis.com I think)
