What is the maximum amount I can withdraw from Halifax cash machine?

I need to take out £900 for Monday and am worried I haven't got enough days to withdraw the money.

£500 a day on most of their current accounts.

You can withdraw up to £500 a day from a cash machine from your Ultimate Reward Current Account, Reward Current Account, Current Account and Student Current Account. The limit for all other bank accounts, including the Current Account with Control, is £300.

The daily maximum cash withdrawal over the branch counter is £2,500, unless you have pre-ordered a higher amount. If you wish to withdraw more than £2,500 in cash, you will need to give your branch advance notice. When making large withdrawals, you will need to prove your identity.

I can withdraw some tomorrow and the rest on Monday - saves me having to go out tonight.

But in terms of what constitutes a "day", did Monday start at close of business Friday?

Or does the clock reset at 23:59 tonight and tomorrow night?

Or do they work on a per 24 hour basis?

So many questions (and you might not even be talking about a Halifax account...merely mentioning their machine because it's convenient)...why not ring Halifax and ask?

I think with santander I can withdraw £300 per day. Maybe £350.

You could go to a branch though on Monday and draw the full £900 in one go.

Some banks even have the option to up your daily limit to 1K....

Daily limits will reset at midnight.
