Lloyds TSB debit card call centre

Have a query regarding my Lloyds debit card. Rang their call centre......it's in the Philippines and I could barely understand a word the operative said.
Had to ask her to repeat everything, she couldn't grasp my query relating to the 'chargeback' process so forced to abandon the call.
Local bank can't help, just referring me back to the same call centre number..............I feel a formal complaint coming on, don't these organisations do any form of 'secret shopper' type check.

Check saynoto0870 and see if you can get a UK NGN0

Oh dear,
I switched from HSBC to Lloyds TSB a few years ago to get away from foreign call centres...
Will I have to move again?0 -
Call the UK number on the back of your card, that's the one I use if it's anything related to fraud/chargebacks etc always helpful & week day work time at least it's UK staff too

I thought LTSB prided themselves on UK call centres? or is that just for current accounts?0

Quite right BetterOff, though got through straight away, 57 option choices to go through (it seemed), "in queue" for absolutely AGES, finally got a human who just said "hello".
I hate to say this, but that was about the only word she said that I didn't have to ask her to repeat!
I found out the location was Philippines when I rang my local Lloyds to get an address to write to instead. I know we can't prevent these establishments from locating abroad where labour/premises are cheap (although it really annoys me - we have unemployed in UK), but not if staff can barely speak (or understand) English.
Thanks everyone for good suggestions, will bear them in mind if my letter doesn't do the trick. Feel better for 'venting'.0
