Npower trouble.

can anybody help me? I am on a pre-payment meter, i've left Npower and Joined EDF, i have had a final bill off N power and it says that in total with gas and electric i am owed £115 by them, but I've rang them and they said that this is not the case, the amount is for information only from an estimated meter reading by them and i am owed no money a tall. Has anybody has this before and they actually received the owed money that they were in 'credit' by?

It is more than likely the reading on the change of supply are wrong. As long as the correct tariff was set on your meter you should not build up any credit on a Prepayment meter. Write and ask them to justify the credit then make sure the closing read with Npower and the start read with your new supplier are the same. Then check the meter to see it is not way out from their readings.

Does the bill show its an estimated read?

If yes how does it compare with the actual read?
