Morning:)
A spend day yesterday. Got what I needed from shops and am starting a new fiscal fast from today.
Some change to go in pot from shopping.. £1.46 :j the pots seem to filling up slowly but surely:)
Picked up a birthday present for ds3 yesterday which I had seen last week for double the price so have tucked that away for April:) I have a lot of birthdays coming up over the next four months so have to nab the bargains when I see them:)
Lovely lasagne for dinner for me and DBf last night, plenty of leftovers for lunches too. Kids had various.
Will try and get some baking done either today or tomorrow fitting it around the studying I have scheduled for this weekend.
Roast beef for dinner tonight, need to get it in the slow cooker by 9ish so it's ready for tonight.
It's looking rough outside today, I may postpone my trip into town with kids this morning to collect dd shoes and do it after school on Monday. It's no fun getting soaked!
Have a great weekend xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Happy Sunday:)
Had a good day yesterday, didn't get any baking done but did do quite a bit on my essay. Had a lovely roast last night too:)
Today's plans are: more work on essay, sort and put away all the clean washing. Get uniforms ready for tomorrow, prep snack boxes.
Off up to my mums this afternoon so will be a quick tea tonight and baths for kids before an early ish night.
Better get to it:)November NSD's - 70 -
Morning:)
Not much to report from yesterday, spent the day either studying or doing house/school things.
Plan for today....
Study
Fix rip in dd hat
Take dd to pick up school shoes after school
Not sure what I am going to do for dinner tonight, must check fridge for anything to use up before I defrost anything else.
Banking done this morning, all looks good. Day three of fiscal fast today, managing to keep on track with that, if fact not even thinking about food shopping for a change, which is strange lol.
Have a great day all xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Off to college this morning, have packed a lunch so no spend there and I have parking prepaid vouchers left so that's already been paid for:)
Assignment is almost finished...it's been driving me nuts this one! Will do some more work on it this afternoon/evening when I'm back from college. Hopefully I will be able to submit tomorrow:)
Day 4 of fiscal fast today and still going well. Yoghurts have all gone now but still have fruit/cereal bars left for snack boxes for kids. Only run out of a few things so far so shopping list is quite small at the moment. I'm sure it will grow as the week goes on. Dinner last night for kids was pizza, I had a sandwich as I wasn't really that hungry.
Nipped into town last night (free parking) and picked up Dd new school shoes, finally got a pair that fit! £34 !! Still, within budget for month though and is not included in my fiscal fast. Also got new printer ink which comes out of my studies budget. Hopefully wont have to buy again for two months or so.
Lots to get on with before kids get up so better get on xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Morning.
Assignment submitted last night:j glad I got that out of the way now. Going to have a day or two off and then get back to study:)
College went well yesterday, I had a nice surprise though, read my exam score wrong and got confused with ums score/raw score. It appears I got 82/84 not what I originally thought it was out of.....this means I actually got 98% in the exam not 84
:T:D definitely a cause for celebration:j
Lots of little jobs to get done around the house over the next few days which I have been putting off because of studying. Need to take my car to get the tires check, it also needs to be put in for its mot by 26th.
Sewed up dd hat for school last night as it had a great big hole in it, she was very pleased as she really likes it and didn't want a different one.
Banking checked this morning and balance is what it should be.
Fiscal fast day 4 no problems, day 5 today and should also be successful. Getting low on squash for the kids, hoping to eek it out until Friday:)
A few pennies in the pot for today...they are all starting to fill up nicely:)
Have a great day all xNovember NSD's - 70 -
well done on submitting your assignment its a great feeling. do you good to have a break for a couple of days, catch up on a few bits.
thats an excellent result for your exam what a great surprise.
I have been busy doing lots of bits and pieces cleaned patio doors last night and made muffins along with all the usual, i get on better if I dont sit on the sofa with a cup of tea when i get in. try and keep going now until about 7 then sit down feeling pleased with my achievements.
feeling a lit more organized and can relax more at weekends.
Have a lovely dayYou can if you think you can .0 -
Could save more - glad you are feeling more productive:) it's nice when you have got all the boxes ticked during the week leaving the weekends a bit less hectic:)
Got a few bits done yesterday so back on top of most things now:T banking checked this morning, nothing should be going in or out until next week now but will probably still check it everyday just in case:D
Helping DBf move a bed today, might try and get a little study done first before he arrives this morning, do not want to get behind again.
Last nights dinner was sausage and mash, tonight will be leftovers. Day 5 fiscal fast completed. I am hoping that I won't go near a shop today which will mean I have clocked up another 6 days. Am going to go shopping tomorrow as I have an appointment for me car to have the tyres done tomorrow morning and it is right next to sainsburys so I may as well do my shopping then plus it gives me something to do while I am waiting:) shouldn't be a huge shop but I am running out of stuff again. I may look at receipts from last week and is weeks shopping list and see what it is I am running out of every week, probably fresh stuff, but if there are some things that can be bought in bulk it may save me some pennies and possible fiscal fast days:)
Petrol is still going strong at the moment, I expect I will have to fill up within the next week though...
Have a great day all xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Major toothache started yesterday, in pain most of the day. Up at 3.30 this morning still in pain:( will have to make appointment at the dentist:(
Managed to get an hour study in but couldn't concentrate after that...
Day 6 fiscal fast completed. Going food shopping today while my car is in having the tyres sorted. Hoping not to spend too much. 13 days left in the month so will see how little I can get away with spending:D
The snow has yet to appear here, apparently we are getting it sometime around 9am this morning, 3pm would have been more convenient:D
Various jobs need to be done today, need to pick up a parcel from the post office, post a letter, will need to go into town and will try and do this after car has been sorted.
Few pennies in various pots this morning, will be amazing when I finally get to open them at the end of November:)
Have a good day all xNovember NSD's - 70 -

Hi happytogetdebtfree:)
Just finished DD101 (OU) passed with distinction 60 credits
Currently doing K101 (introduction to health and social care with OU) 60 credits
Also doing GCSE Maths (with local college finishing in June)
Just about to start K225 (Diverse perspectives on mental health with OU): 30 credits
Will be doing 2 courses starting this october as yet not totally decided on which ones...30 credit and 60 credits
Aiming to finish my degree with Ou by 2015/2016 then apply to southampton uni to do adult nursing. It's not the right time for me just yet to be able to go to a brick uni, but should be able to after a few more years:)
It's great that you're recommending nursing as a career choice, how did you find uni and which one did you go to? XNovember NSD's - 70
