Adding to Buddy List

Have been trying to add people to my buddy list but some of them it says it cant find - yet I have clicked on teh usernames name and in the menu that appears have clicked on add this person to my buddy list. Yet still cant add them, is it just me?

me too having problem on this - I suspect the upgrading is still in process so we should all be sorted soon

yeah there is, but there has been in some of the people I have managed to add!

Hi meher, it's a pity that no one will even aknowledge the problem though. I still I have an issue with the ignore button and capital letters.

Yep that may be what is causing the problem however I have others in my buddy list who start with a capital letter but I honestly cant remember who I added when

If the people you are trying to add have a capital letter as the initial letter they won't add to your buddy list, or indeed your ignore list, since the last upgrade.

I had major problems with my UserCP just after the upgrade and it wiped my entire buddy list so I can only add people with a lower case first initial.

Strangely if you try to add me to your buddy list it will divert to my original user name before my initial letter was changed to a capital letter.

I know this answer is out there somewhere but I can't find it.

I understand the point of the ignore list but not the buddy list, please can somebody explain. Also if somebody is on your ignore list (I don't have one) then I understand you don't see there posts but what happens if somebody quotes them - do you see this? Thanks and sorry to be dim Dusty
