Hi,
We have 2 UK holidays booked, the first one is a trip to Cornwall staying in a Priverate Cottage in April, I expect this to cost @ £200, the second holiday we have just booked is Mainly Using Tesco Reward Vouchers to to go a Caravan in September, holiday insurance from the Caravan site doesn't cover the Tesco Reward Vouchers, we have paid £170 (So cheap holiday really), so it would cover that if we want to travel. Tesco will cover the complete cost of the holiday including Tesco Reward Vouchers for£15 I think, but I was thinking:-
Should I try to get a policy to cover for both
Just not bother at all.
I guess we want to be covered in case we need to cancel, or if a member of our family passes away, we might not feel like holiday.
Anyone any thoughts on this.
I am 53, my wife is 50

I wouldnt even bother to be quite honest, I used to be a big Insurance person but now I dont bother if Im holidaying in the UK.
As the holidays are on the cheap side, insurance is going to rack the cost up. I also reckon in the cost of the excess, this of course would be x 2 so you have to work it out for yourself if its worth taking out.
Of course, going abroad, insurance is essential.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thanks for that
I guess it is a bit of a shame that no one does cheap UK only holiday for multi trip, but as you say, as they are cheap, probably not worth worrying about.

Annual travel policies will probably cover UK trips. I think the ones you get with bank accounts might cover UK trips as long as you have a minimum of, say, 3 nights accommodation booked.0
