You are on a fixed unit price. Your DD is based on the amount of energy you use so can vary if that usage changes from the original estimate. As we go into winter where usage will be at its highest £16 credit is not enough to balance the account to £0 in spring.0

sounds like Eon's spring time review policy, your unit prices wont have changed. they're estimating your energy usage at £448 for the next 6 months and averaging your monthly payments for that period, which is higher at this time of year than your annual energy usage. Only having £16 worth of credit at this time of year with their DD policy means you have used more than it estimated in the last 6 months.
You will probably find your DD will go down in 6 months time depending on how heavy the winter is. This DD policy is correct as its your unit rates which are fixed till June next year not your DD payments.0 -
Your DD is not your actual monthly bill. it's a contribution towards your usage. Your unit rate is fixed, not your monthly DD.
You should have far more credit going into the winter quarter than £16!No free lunch, and no free laptop0
