have you ever been on moonpig? https://www.moonpig.com
you can design your own on there so they would say whatever you want...and even with delivery it costs less than a lot of the cards you would find somewhere like clintons.
Ive made quite a few photo upload cards (the youngest recipient being my 2yo niece) and they go down a storm, i believe my sister framed it and put it up in the babys bedroom as it was so cool and all the pictures and words were personalised just for her.0 -

It's my little girl's 2nd birthday on Wednesday. I looked too but didn't find anything.
I bought a 'daughter card' and I'll just write which birthday it is on it as I like to keep cards; my mum did it for me and I still have them. I doubt she'll be angry that I didn't get both printed on the same card when she can eventually read it!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

My mum did this ..... hunted high and low for cards that announced the exact nature of the celebration and the person celebrating ... my grandmothers are exactly the same ... they all keep stuff like this .....
As a result both my sister and myself have a huge aversion to this hoarding of, what we consider to be, total rubbish, a massive fire hazard (in our case it really is extreme - recently my sister smuggled away (at my Dad's request, as it's all driving him mad!) a large box of paper that 'had' to be kept - it was birthday cards and spelling tests!!!!!!! Mad ... every single spelling test that me and my sister had ever done - and believe me, having attended a strict catholic school, there were LOTS of them!! Spellingness being next to Godliness obviousy!!! I am 40 this year and my sister is 36 - so this stuff has been accumulating for years and years. The paper is now old and musty and smells unpleasant - we have no interest in any of it at all. I haven't continued the tradition with my children, I wouldn't want to inflict it on them!
HOWEVER ... last year my sister had a great idea - she sent me the best birthday card I've ever had ... she had dug through the old photos of when we were children and found one of us in dressing up outfits on a holiday in Isle of Wight when I was about 7 and she was 3 - I am dressed in a hula hula outfit made out of crepe paper and she was a stunner with crepe paper ears as 'Miss Bunny'.
I am smiling now thinking about it .. she made a lovely card from the photo and it is the only card I have kept (along with handmade ones from my children of course!). It evokes strong memories for me of our childhood, that holiday, and can remember my dad spending hours fashioning crepe paper into our costumes!
So ..... I reckon, if you are keeping cards, that a great idea would be to make one yourself for your child - using a recent photo of you and your child (with other important family members, or friends) - so that when your child inherits this big box of (ahem!) stuff!!!:D That actually the cards mean something .. not just a mass produced piece of card that happens to have your handwriting on.
Just my two-penneth ... not intending to offend or put you down for your own tradition of keeping/sending this type of card - it's just not right for me - not saying it isn't right for you.

I have one metal box of stuff for my entire life! I lost my mum quite young so it's lovely to still have things that she felt were important for me. It's wonderful to see what she wrote in my cards when I was a little girl and how much she adored me.
Things that may not mean very much suddenly mean a lot more when you don't have the person attached to them.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Hi Scooper
Why not buy a daughter birthday card that you like and put a '2' sticker on it. That's what we do, and daughter has been pleased, she is 6 now. We also get an age badge to go with it.0 -
hi yes i think i will have to do that put a lttle sticker on it
you would think though that there would be cards out there for this wouldnt you?appreciate what you have got x0 -
Even the 'Card Factory' have a selection of stick-on numbers to personalise a card (mum-in-law just did this for uncles 75th!) - at 2 I would'nt recomend a badge but you could tie the card to a 2 shaped balloon - much more interesting for that age anyway!I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0

We make all cards these days, either DD1 will make something (she is very arty and they often look like they were "shop bought") or I will use a photo ans print a message inside (I take a lot of flower/art type shots as the occur-people honestly seem to prefer this and a child will be delighted to get a pic of themselves on a card at the age of 2 (DD1 maybe wouldn't be so happy at 14!)0

I'm afraid I'm with you on that....it would have taken me a couple of minutes to find a decent card......I have to say this is one of the most bizarre threads I've seen on here. I don't mean it in a nasty way, maybe I'm just too laid back but I wouldn't be stressing over a card.....
