Fred Olsen mini cruise bargain 25/5

4 night Fred Olsen Braemar mini cruise bargain - just reduced to £225 per person (two sharing) for an inside cabin on guarantee basis. If there are three or four of you, the third and fourth persons cost only an extra £68 each, sharing the cabin! (Child reductions are even greater)
This is over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, 25th - 29th May, so not as much time off needed if you work. Perfect if you want to try a cruise to see how you like it, especially if you live in the southern regions of the UK.
Itinerary: Dover - St Peter Port, Guernsey - Amsterdam (overnight) - Dover
I have just booked for three of us this morning, and it works out at just £43 per person per night - incredible value, especially when compared to hotel b&b costs these days.

Glad this helped.
The cheapest inside cabins are all gone by this afternoon (so glad I booked Saturday) and only slightly dearer outside ones left (£285 but still a bargain, or £335 for superior outside)A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
No four berths left at all, glad I got one of the last this morning. How did you find it in the first place?0

Since doing a mini cruise with Fred Olsen three years ago (Black Watch, £199 for 4 nights) I have a look at their sailing schedule early on to check what is on offer mini cruise-wise, then keep an eye on proceedings on Fred's website to see if nearer the sailing date the price drops. I like the 4 night ones, as that makes it worth it going down to Dover from the Midlands, especially if they are over a Bank Holiday.
I checked this one on Friday and noticed it had plummeted somewhat in price, and had changed to 'guarantee basis' for the cabins. Thought I had better book quickly as soon as we had had a chance to discuss it, as I suspected at that price it would go quickly.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -

Just one thing to be aware of with Fred Olsen, it tends to be older clients that go on their cruises. Really good price for one of their mini cruises though, Braemar is a decent ship, hope you have a great time:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

If anyone missed the cheapest inside cabin deal for £225 per person, these cabins are back on offer again, including the cabins that sleep 3/4 people.
I think they must have promoted some earlier bookers into outside cabins to be able to release the cheapest insides again that sell well last minute.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
