I received 3 telephone calls yesterday off Nationwide asking me to contact them urgently. As soon as i returned from work i called them and they wanted to discuss strange transactions on my account.
Turns out some nice little person has managed to clone my card and get a very very large amount of money out of my account. They had only done it the day before and im very impressed with how quick they found the error.
Apparently my card had been used to purchase a few items then a 1p transaction had gone through that caused concern.
Best and most important of all im not liable for any of the transactions thankfully and will be receiving a full refund!
And to think i was going to change my bank over a few ago! ! :j
