I had a lovely day yesterday, even spent some post-partying time napping with the remaining cat in my arms. I went out until late, came home to find he had taken on a car in the late evening and lost

I'm now 100% heartbroken, how can two furbags die within 9 days of each other? My house is so empty now. I can't even bear to clean his bowls up let alone put his beds away. The OH has taken him to the vets - I couldn't face going there again.

If I stamp around a lot and scream a lot I should wake up to find its a bad dream right?

Stamp around and scream as much as you want, anything that makes it a little easier.

Oh just horrific - can't even imgaine the pain of losing two so close...... So dreadfully sorry; that's the worst, cruellest tragedy.

Be very kind to yourself, but yes, cry and rail at the injustice. I will for you inside.

We've never gone from 'cats' to 'no cats' so the emptiness must be awful. Whatever you believe, I truly think nature abhors a vacuum and your cats in spirit will be engineering meeting a new companion for you - ours always have. When the time is right, as cats are very wise.

So very sad for you.

Thanks guys finally stopped the random tears. I'm just so gutted we are cat-less and cant afford to neuter new kittens or get them jabs, so it will be months before we get any more.

Therefore the TVAW in Berkshire is about to get a bumper lot of boxes, beds and food!
