Agreement to Pay

Hello,

Back in mid 2001 I was struggling to pay my Barclaycard credit cards and also my GE Cap 1 store card and had a few charges added to each account. I did however come to an arrangement to pay back the balances that I owed with the interest frozen and finally managed to clear these debts in 2005.

Would I have any case in still be able to make a claim against these companies and if so what exactly would I be able to claim for?

Also am I allowed to make a claim for charges on my old Halifax joint account that I held with my now ex husband or do I have to have the other account holders permission to do this?

Many thanks.

all i know is that if it was a joint account with halifax he would be entitled to half of it. in regards to the capital one it sounds like they were pretty good by freezing the interest however thats still no excuse for unlawful charges so i think you would be fine, worth a try anyway.
