Hello MSER's - I had two loans a while ago now, around 8-10 years:
The first was with RBS and it was for a car, when I took the loan out I had just been in work for 3 months and was told I'd need PPI in case I lost my job.
The second loan was with Yorkshire BS and this was a few years later, I was about to buy a proprerty and needed to borrow for some home stuff. I was told again and rememeber quite vividly this conversation that I'd need PPI as I wasn't yet a homeowner and security was needed against the loan.
I do not have anything to back this up as I have no records or paperwork anymore, would I be wasting my time attempting? In my opinion now, I didn't really need it as the reasons they told me I don't think were valid> Any comments?
Thanks in adavce...

As its so long ago, and if they dont have any papers and you dont, it's brick wall time.
Do you have the actual years. This sort of thing wasnt regulated until 2005.
And in either case you would have to have a provable reason for reclaiming.
What they 'said' isnt provable.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I would make a complaint anyway, if they have no records you'll find out soon enough.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
