1. Organiser, Cooperation Partner
The organiser of the 1 in a Million Competition (“Competition”) is eBay International AG, Helvetiastraße 15-17, 3005 Bern, Switzerland, https://www.ebay.co.uk (hereinafter, "eBay" or "we").
Our cooperation partner Essence Digital Limited, Academy House, 36 Poland Street, London W1F 7LU, England (hereinafter, "Essence Digital") handles the technical side of the Competition and is responsible for, among other aspects, the notification of winners.
Partner Theme Traders, The Stadium, Oaklands Road, London, NW2 6DL, England (hereinafter, "Theme Traders") handles the delivery and execution of the winner’s prize.

2. Competition Period
The Competition will be open from 11:30:01 December 7, 2012 GMT and will end on 09:59:59 December 10, 2012 GMT (“Competition Period”).

3. Eligibility
All residents of the United Kingdom who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, and have a valid Facebook account, are eligible to enter. Employees (and their families) of eBay, affiliates, subsidiary companies, representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may have be professionally involved with the Competition are not eligible to enter.

The user must have established a link to the eBay.co.uk Facebook Page (the “Site”) on Facebook. This means that the user needs to have clicked the "Like" button for the Site.

4. Procedure
On the first day of the Competition, a Facebook post on the Site will communicate a link to the Competition App where you will be able to enter the Competition.
To enter the Competition, you must submit your name, e-mail address, postcode, phone number and date of birth. You must also confirm whether you are available between 13:00 and 18:00 on December 15, 2012 GMT.
Each entrant who successfully completes this information will be entered into a random prize draw and be known individually as an “Eligible Entrant” or collectively “Eligible Entrants”.
You may only enter the Competition once.

5. Criteria for Determining Winners
There will be one (1) winner chosen from among the Eligible Entrants. The prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all Eligible Entrants.

6. Prize

The prize winner chosen from among the Eligible Entrants will receive a party (“the Prize”). Staff from Essence Digital and Theme Traders will award the winner at the address provided when claiming the Prize. If the Prize winner’s location is not suitable for the event, eBay has the right to choose a different location other than the address provided by the Prize winner when claiming the Prize. The Prize will be awarded between 13:00 and 18:00 on December 15, 2012 GMT. There is no alternative and the Prize is not transferable.
The Prize winner may select up to twenty (20) friends and/or family members (Party Attendees) to experience the Prize with.

7. Notification to Winners
The Prize drawing will take place after 10:00:00 on December 10, 2012 GMT. The winners will be notified by e-mail and telephone within 24 hours of the Prize drawing by Essence Digital. The notification will be addressed to the e-mail address provided by the entrant when registering for the Competition. Essence Digital will contact the winner using the telephone number provided when registering. We are not obligated to investigate further when a winner does not respond to either the e-mail or telephone call within the specified time frame above.
By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to his or her first name and the first letter of his or her surname to be announced, if applicable, via a post on the Site and/or in the Competition app.

8. Claiming a Prize
The Prize winner must respond to the winner notification email and/or telephone call within 24 hours of contact in order to claim the Prize. eBay reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
If a potential winner cannot be reached under the e-mail address or the telephone number provided at the time of entry to the Competition or if a winner fails to provide his or her full contact details within the aforementioned period, such potential winner will lose any and all entitlement to the Prize. A new winner will be selected.
If no potential winner can be reached under the e-mail address or the telephone number provided at the time of entry to the Competition, eBay reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Competition.

9. Exclusion From Participation
Any attempt to manipulate the Competition, particularly by using automatic mechanisms such as scripts or anything similar is prohibited and will result in exclusion from participation.
If eBay has suspicions or knowledge that any entrant has been involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, eBay reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and any related entrants.
eBay reserves the right to disqualify participants who do not comply with these entry conditions. Participants whose Facebook account is blocked, closed or restricted or becomes blocked, closed or restricted during the Competition period are or will be excluded from participating.

10. Data Use, Data Privacy Protection
All personal data collected from a participant (name, e-mail address, post code, phone number and date of birth) will be collected, processed and stored solely for the purpose of the conducting of the Competition by Essence Digital. After completion of the Competition, all personal data in the possession of Essence Digital Limited will be deleted without delay.
The name, e-mail address and post code of the winner will be transmitted solely for the purpose of winner notification and the delivery of the prize. It will subsequently be deleted there.
Please note: by accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to be filmed and have his or her photo taken during the Prize delivery. The winner consents to the footage and/or photographs being shared on social media sites, such as Facebook, YouTube and any other sites eBay would like to use.
Essence Digital will ask all Party Attendees over 18 years of age and parents of Party Attendees under 18 for their written consent to be filmed and/or photographed and to have the footage and/or photographs shared on social media sites, such as Facebook, YouTube and any other sites eBay would like to use.
No other transfer of data to third parties or other use of data will take place.

11. Limitation of liability
eBay makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding any product or service provided by any third party in connection with any Competition.
eBay shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence) or the breach of statutory duty or in any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by the entrant resulting directly or indirectly from entry to this Competition. Nothing in these terms shall limit eBay's liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
eBay will not be responsible for any third party's performance or failure to perform any services related to any Competition, or for any costs, damages, accident, delay, injury, loss, expense, or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of the Competition, provided that nothing shall limit eBay's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
By accepting the prize, the winner irrevocably grants eBay permission to use his or her name, image, biographical and eBay and PayPal related information for advertising, promotional or publicity purposes.
eBay does not accept, and is not responsible for, any lost or delayed entries. eBay reminds entrants of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software that may affect entry to the Competition.
Although eBay will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Competition ("Competition Material") is accurate, eBay is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software failure that may affect eBay's operation of the Competition or the site, including without limitation the accuracy of any Competition Material.

12. General
eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel this contest at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which in eBay's opinion make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this contest.

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

eBay may carry out this Competition through its local subsidiaries. eBay may use third parties to facilitate one or more elements of the Competition. These third party service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit the use of the information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced eBay related operation.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts over any claim or matter arising under these terms and conditions.

This Competition is not associated with Facebook and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organised by Facebook. The recipient of the provided information is not Facebook, but Essence. The provided information will be used solely for the above-mentioned purposes
