So think I will - rather than go for the whoopsie run of the year. Off to Perth, Western Australia to swim with the Dolphins on the 16th, so its not as though I need to stock up for the next 3 months.

Merry Xmas everyone and a special thank you to you all for helping me save so much ££££s.
Rockinham - what a lovely thing to look forward to in January. Wave hi to my sis in law who emigrated to mindarie in Perth 3 years ago:D

Best price - happy belated birthday for yesterday :D

If anyone tries this in Newport Spytty I hope you have better luck than I did yesterday. Manager refused to accept the overcharge and offered to exchange the 3 joints for the correctly priced vavuum packed ones
Needless to say I declined his kind offer ;)

I would just phone head office if I were you, instant reply that way and it is a free phone number

Got a Xmas tree from B & Q yesterday. Cost a £1. I think I was robbed though coz I'm sure someone said they were only 1p
Anyhoo, I'm not paying out a tenner for one of those water contraptions to stick it in. So I thought I'd get a bucket from the pound shop and stick Xmas paper around it :D Anyone got any bright ideas as to how I can stop it from falling over? :)

Good luck with that! Maybe keep an eye out for a cheap holder in the sales so that you have it ready for cheap tree next year? I have a metal one which comes out faithfully every year.

  • Samsung Mobile Phone and o2 sim back in stock @ Mr T Direct for just £5

Saw this originally on the student's thread but it's been OOS, thanks to them for posting :D. Just been on line and good news, it's back in stock. The phone is £15, but if you buy it with an o2 sim (ideal if you want to register for o2 Moments ;)) it's just £5. This deal sold out very quickly before. I've just bought 3 for the family to use, ideal for festivals or to leave in the glove box for emergencies.

Link below is for the phone, you need to add this to your basket first

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/sim-free-samsung-e1200-black/786-3368.prd?pageLevel=sku&skuId=786-3368

This is the link for the sim, you need to add this too to get the price down to £5 for both :D

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/o2-pay-as-you-go-sim-pack/100-2304.prd?skuId=100-2304&fromRV=true

Wow! Mine just got delivered, speedy or what!

Seriously, I remember the tree being precarious the whole of Christmas when I was a kid and as for the pine needlers still being vacuumed in April!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
