Evening all, went to the panto in Cardiff today ...... Oh not I didn't, oh yes I did lol - it was very good

Had a shopping free day today for a change but plan to go out early tomorrow for a few last minute bits

I went to morrisons yesterday and got my £30 saver voucher after collecting 8 tokens was surprised to hear they wouldn't take £10 wys£80 moc in same transaction

OH is off out delivering presents shortly so one less thing to do

I have several APGs but might keep them for next month as stocked up now on most things

    Welshy x

i was really annoyed that morrisons wouldnt take both the £25 and £10 in same transation

shows that people who are loyal to them got a raw deal

i emailed them and got a reply today saying check t and cs

just really annoyed as i had met the £120 minimum spend for both

At least you have your brother helping out:eek: If he is anything like mine you will end up with beans on toast for xmas dinner:rotfl:

Christmas and New Year are always hard when you are missing someone. You are not alone though, you have everyone on here if you want to moan/rant or just chat. :A

My brother has now decided that he doesn't want the mess in his new house so has come to stay in my mum's, I bet we end up having to 'help' then just do it ourselves
I've already told them I'm on strike this year, just fed up with him doing this so have decided to arrive, eat breakfast, open prezzies from them, visit my older cousin and her family and then back to mums to eat dinner and go home. I don't care if they think I'm rude I'm just going to do what I want and that's that!

sounds just like my freezer and my kitchen! I've been eating things on the basis of how much room it'll release in the freezer since I tend to do a huge batch of sweet and sour turkey after Christmas and I really enjoy it in the weeks ahead.

i got a nice meat from butchers thanks MUM and MIL ;) got turkey, pork and ham and beef and lamb and sauasages and chipolatas streky and bacon, goose fat duck eggs, and if im honest iv got lots of joints of meat in freezer but o/h wanted "fresh" . we only have a sadal of turkey and it dose xmas day and a curry and a turkey and ham pie with leeks and cream yum yum , then the rest is made in to meals, friends invited over for meals buffets , so all used up , my o/h wants the recipe for sweet n sour as i dnt like so he never makes just jar but he wuld like to try .so cam u share your recipe?

i do batch cooking but been lazy latly and just cutting meat in to portions or not and just freezing :o bt been so busy

    Hey you

Xmas is a hard time for some people. Either stressful or upsetting. I haven't even done my tree yet. I'm sitting here procrastinating. I am going to have to start someplace.

My wonderful uncle passed away last Christmas morning and now I'm struggling to make it all pretty again.

However like you, and boy do you you have strength girl. I'm going to get my wee Scots backside up, paint on a smile and get this sorted.

Never feel completely alone SD cause somewhere someone is thinking of you. At this moment its me from a very windy rainy grey bit of Scotland honey.

    Lots of love xxxx

    Thank you
Well I procrastinated today and left most of the stuff where it was  I did sort out one box of stuff and will do another when DS goes to bed tonight , if I can be bothered will maybe do 2.
I have room in the cupboard under the stairs so will see what I can shove in there after that and the rest can go up stairs.
I'll feel a bit better after doing that and then the wrapping can begin :rotfl:
