    Evening folks,
Hope you have all done your last minute bits.
I have cleaned up dinners just finishing cooking , looked hotels up to stop at for when we get evacuated and loaded the car, the river cant hold much longer they are sand bagging it which i think is :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:how an earth are sand bags going to stop all that water coming over, its still rising, parts are flooded and the roads closed, the pub that was flooded 3 weeks ago is flooded again :eek:.
There is security everywhere and so much movement , this xmas is unreal

Oh bubbs, I'm so sorry to hear this. I can't imagine how stressful it must be for you right now. :(

  • Can anybody please help probably Snap if she reading thread. Postie tried to deliver a parcel saturday while i was out between 9-30 and 11-30 am. He shoved card through door to collect at sorting office in 24 hours. Do you think parcel will be at sorting office 6-30am in morning when they open ?[/QUOTE]

I'd expect so. Likely to have gone back once the round was finished and entered into the awaiting collection system. Having Sunday in-between doubles the liklihood that it will be waiting for you. I'd check if they are actually open that early though...

I'm sure it would be ready, the reason they say 24 hours is because people go straight there as soon as they get the card and poor postie still has it in his bag/on his van.......mine have different hours this week and next.
