I am in Cornwall and on the coast!! Its been pouring here all night and all morning, one of my near neighbours house is flooded, an underground spring has sent water up through her floor, the whole of the ground floor was over foot deep in water, it came up through the floor then flowed out through the front door!!
    Everything downstairs is ruined!!:(:(

Oh how awful. Hope you are ok at your house Perranlady.

Doesn't Purdita live in Devon or Cornwall? Hope she is ok too.

Afternoon, I have just made some 'alternative' mince pies.
Cut the bases out of fruit loaf slices, line the patty tins, fill with mince meat, add an optional blob of maripan and cover with a smaller shape also cut from fruit loaf. Bake in oven till tanned!
So much less mess than rolling out flour.
Have a wonderful feastive season and thank you all for all your knowledge on the glitching, only take part in the occasional one but love reading about all the success stories.:)

Oh well I've never been very musical, I was just trying to make folks smile on this dull rainy day.

The nearest I've come to this is when a POLICE CAR door was opened when I was just far enough away to stop! (I'm a cyclist too)
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
