    Just had a brainwave.

I can't remember who said it but someone once said that if you need something have a good look around your house as its quite likely that you already have what you need at home. You probably don't need to go out and buy anything.

This has always stuck with me and it has proved correct so many times.

If you stock pile and hoard things like we all do it is so true.

I wanted some chocs to fill in gaps in Christmas stockings, ideally wrapped in something shiny or foil or at least something festive. I've looked in pound shops and in sweetie aisles and in value sweets but nothing was quite right. So I've just had a look at what I had stashed behind the sofa and found a carrier bag with Eliza shaw crisp box. These I bought as part of a 2 ff and one choc shop but it was a dud shop. I didn't do a return as I'd used mainly APGS to pay for the shop and anyway the odd bad shop does not make much difference in the big scheme of things.

But I've just had a look at the box and these are ideal for what I need and there are loads of lovely gold foiled discs in a box :T

I just now have to get my butt off the sofa and start organising the stockings - meant to be doing this at 9.30 this morning but got seriously side tracked by everything and anything yet again ......

Green Points for Empty Ink Cartridges

I finally got around to sending these off. I sent 10 in 5 separate envelopes - they were all the same and acceptable. Unfortunately points have only been given for 8, evidently one envelope has not been received.

It's no big deal compared to the world nearly ending yesterday, but I am just wondering if any other elite peeps have had any bother with them not arriving or points not being credited.

I sent in 4 carts in separate envelopes back in September -in October I hadn't had the points so sent a message via Tesco website -had call from the recycling firm saying only 3 were good but I had missed the 00 before my clubcard number (took it from my credit card) still waiting for the points - chased cust services in December who said leave it til end Jan & contact them again if not added - would have been easier to sell them to save the hassle!

Where are you - cornwall? Oh crikey yes not good down there at all looking at forecast- hoping they have got the forecast wrong this time:(

I am in Cornwall and on the coast!! Its been pouring here all night and all morning, one of my near neighbours house is flooded, an underground spring has sent water up through her floor, the whole of the ground floor was over foot deep in water, it came up through the floor then flowed out through the front door!!
    Everything downstairs is ruined!!:(:(
