Bubbs, I do hope everything will be ok and you don't get flooded again. I know you have had it bad, we were due to travel to cornwall tomorrow for christmas, staying at Wadebridge and St Austall but have decided to stay at home. We had booked the sale travelodge rooms and wanted to go walking but thought it might be too dangerous on the coastal paths. Anyway going to hit the shops tomorrow to stock up for christmas at home.

Greenfinger - I'm in Mid Cornwall and its really nothing to worry about. Having said that - I'm off to Austria and Switzerland early tomoorw but, if I was at home it would certainly be 'business as usual'. Seems a shame to abort your visit.

    :)

Today is 'Mad Friday' in our town.

All the factories have closed for Christmas at mid day & most of the workers drink & dress up & it's rather 'mad' :o

Except me as I have to clean & tidy up as my Parents arrive tomorrow :eek:

    My Christmas hampers just arrived.

    One full of minstrels.
The other is just a bag of sweets. Including flumps.

    Not happy!!!

Don't know if you already know this but, anyone with an iPhone if you double click on the home button it shows all the open apps. If you keep you finger on one for a second or 2, a minus sign appears, just touch all the minus signs to close all apps not wanted. My battery life has gone from 24 hours up to 3 days!!!
  • Why would she need to know @ 1am? :rotfl:

She was speaking to her friends and they want to go to Egypt on holiday

I told her sharm el sheik is in Asia ( which is true) to confuse them all :D
