Glad you x-ray was ok and you finally have tablets.
I am surprised you were not put on them earlier.

I was really struggling to breath earlier and started panicking, my Mum managed to get the doctors out and I am now on the following
    500mg Amoxicillin - 3 times a day
    500mg Clarithromycin - 2 times a day
6 little steroids once a day.

I am going to have tests in the New Year for Asthma etc as she said no air in my lungs at all.

Hopefully will be better in the morning I had pre-booked to take the kids to see Santa but DH may have to take them on his own x

Aww sorry to hear you're suffering too:( I hope it's nothing too serious and doesn't spoil your Christmas too much

It's such a scary feeling. I was seriously frightened last week when I was struggling to manage a deep breath. My breathing isn't too bad now, it's just very painful. Only got painkillers last week. They do help though. So painkillers and anti biotics over Christmas. Guess I won't be enjoying the nice M&S fizz Ive been saving:( Might manage it in the new year tho:)

I so know that feeling. Been through it with my father. The moment you get the "all clear" is pretty indescribable. With us we wanted to laugh cry scream and shout all at the same time. Where as my father said thanks is that it can I go now lol (75yo). Now get on and enjoy your christmass and the rest of your life's.

This made me :rotfl: I already have a bit of phobia about clean hands as it is I wash my hands several times a day more than I probably need to and I carry a bottle if hand sanitiser and wipes around with me and I NEVER touch strange door handles with my bare hands. And I always wipe the trolley handle in the supermarket:o. My family think I'm bonkers but I can't help it! It's my little obsession

Hope everyone has had a productive day. Chest x ray went fine. Nothing sinister to report except a possible chest infection and a better explanation of what pleurisy actually is. Got some anti biotics.

Then I went to As OMG:eek: it was so busy. I had serious trolley rage before I even got out if the fruit and veg aisle. I will not be back inside a supermarket this side of Christmas! Ordered meat from the local butcher and picking that up on Monday and what veg Im not getting out of the garden I'll buy at Ts express round the corner. Can't believe Im so organised and have no more shopping to do. Well unless a major glitch happens:D

oops sorry for the long post:o

glad your chest xray was fine. Hope the anti Bs kick in quickly. x
