I know we were going to originally put it on itunes but we can raise more money this way with the extra 25% gift-aid and it's easier to give so it's a no brainer.
My darling niece succumbed to leukaemia this year and so I thought it would be nice to do something for the brilliant people at Make-a-Wish foundation in her memory.
Please remember that it is you raising the money.
I had a brilliant time in the recording studio. Although it took half an hour to remaster the backing track. First we had to drop it one semitone and then by another half semitone (ooh look at Mad getting all technical :rotfl:) Also I had to sing the third verse as if it was the first verse so due to time constraints the final take had to be done in one and it shows
Anyhoo hope you have a laugh. Just to wish a Happy and peaceful Christmas to you and yours.:xmassmile

Afternoon all, Back in from hectic shopping. Did a shop at sada at lunchtime to use up a sada fiver and a few apgs. Took me ages to find a parking spot so even free biscuits won't be tempting me out again:rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0

This made me :rotfl: I already have a bit of phobia about clean hands as it is I wash my hands several times a day more than I probably need to and I carry a bottle if hand sanitiser and wipes around with me and I NEVER touch strange door handles with my bare hands. And I always wipe the trolley handle in the supermarket:o. My family think I'm bonkers but I can't help it! It's my little obsession
Hope everyone has had a productive day. Chest x ray went fine. Nothing sinister to report except a possible chest infection and a better explanation of what pleurisy actually is. Got some anti biotics.
Then I went to As OMG:eek: it was so busy. I had serious trolley rage before I even got out if the fruit and veg aisle. I will not be back inside a supermarket this side of Christmas! Ordered meat from the local butcher and picking that up on Monday and what veg Im not getting out of the garden I'll buy at Ts express round the corner. Can't believe Im so organised and have no more shopping to do. Well unless a major glitch happens:D
oops sorry for the long post:o0 -
Hi all :hello:
Just a quickie (oo-er missus) that you might have heard of/done before, but worth mentioning. I joined MyWaitrose, the Waitrose loyalty program, t'other week because I was going to buy a hamper (but I didn't in the end) and the offer was supposedly only for myWaitrose members. Today in the post I received my loyalty card plus a £5 voucher to spend at Waitrose (minimum spend: £5 :T)
So it's basically a free Waitrose fiver for signing up. Worth doing!
Oop, forgot the linkie. Here you go: http://www.waitrose.com/home/mywaitrose/mywaitrose_welcome.html
My voucher said use by 30 December, but I expect this is a rolling offer and you just have to use it within 2 weeks of applying for your membership.
I also read you can get free coffee/tea every day in Waitrose as a myWaitrose member, so perhaps if there's one near your place of work it could save you money in the morning/on a lunchtime if you buy a coffee anyway.
