Well I have tried 3 sada's today and Sally Hansen I can't find it I have looked through the make up cabinets, had the jokes about "suits you sir" and "its not your shade" and "is it for you", felt like saying it would be free on the apg and just wanted to use an old voucher before it expires. Please can someone tell me where they are, or shall I go in a dress tomorrow

We will want proof if you do tomorrow :D
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

  • Brought mr A's simply porridge today and although its £1.64 in sada I'm pleased to say its still comparing at 55p. The other good news is its sel is nov 13, so can use up a few wombles on them.

I saw some in my A today. They were hung up next to the make up with all the nail files etc.

I'm sure security will catch it they normally do. I wonder if a dress and trainers would attract too much attention.

I got an odd till spit from tosco today, £1 off Miranda wine, never heard of it before. it's on offer for £6.99 so I am not temped, the last couple of wine festivals have been too good.

I even got a mailing moc for Nottage HIll which arrived on the Monday last week, the day after I ran our of finest £2 mocs

Also in this mailing were extra points for chilled desserts and also mocs for finest foods. If they had arrived on the previous Friday instead of Monday I could have got the nottage hill and a £10 meal deal alongside the 2 for £12 wines :T

    Updates for the NI crew

    - typical, now they're not glitching I found the Ferrero Trees in B'gor facing the till
    - CAPTAINBLONDECHICK you are a gem. 1 Sally Hansen, a few fillers up to £10 and a few pennies. £2 off £10 coupon. £9 instant PP :D
    - Patty, thanks for the tip re the M&S coupons. I relieved them of some today ;)
    - Leothecat thank you for the tip for the Real Food mags. Relieved that store of a few ;)
    - S'hill full of trouts. Was served by TiT who then called Mega Trout for the conditional spend coupon I had (store issued, not a Sada one). TiT then went higher up the food chain to Supreme Trout to query the £3 diary coupon. It's scary that the customers know the T&Cs better than the staff. Even when you show staff the competitor coupon leaflet they still query it and even when computer says yes for coupons, they lie through their teeth. Still, it was all worth it :D

So all you lovely Elite, what's the best way to store cheese as I may have bought a few blocks? I know grating is the way to go but what to store it in - tupperware, freezer bag or something else? Thanking you :T

All quiet this neck of the woods but for those near the hot spots, stay safe and hope it all calms down soon.

I am after some facebook advice please :D:D When I went onto my MSE FB account earlier, it said it was temporarily locked as had been accessed from unusual place (which turned out to be California I think, so asked me to enter new passsword and verify which I did. Then the same happened on my real life fb account, so had to change password on there too. Access there had been somewhere else in USA. On checking emails, found messages from fb telling me that account locked due to unusual access and that I should change password. I changed password via fb log in, not via any email link by the way. Is this ok or sshould I be suspicious? Many thanks in advance :D

I've had the same thing except the access had been from the Ukraine.
Wsa a bit suspicious but the request to change password was on a page that had https at the start so assumed it was OK. Beginning to wonder now.:(

Naebbirac, Thank you so much. My Dyson gave up the ghost last week, took it to our usual repair guy who said the part needed would cost in excess of £100. I remembered you had posted something about dealing direct with dyson. Found your post, called Dyson and it turns out vacuum is still under guarantee . They are sending the part free of charge. So thanks again, I knew nothing about this and would probably have had to buy a new hoover
