  • I'm thinking of making a selection box type equivalent for kids Christmas presents using the small chocolate bars which I bought as fillers and now have a mountain of :D

Does anyone have any good ideas about how to make them look good? I thought about putting them in a cup but not many will fit in. Could put in a sandwich bag with a ribbon but it might look a bit naff :( I can't think of a good way to present them

I'm doing the same with the flumps and refreshers as well as lovehearts, Drumstick lollies etc which I got cheap in big tubs after Halloween. Have a load of cello gifts bags from Lakeland plain and festive ones which will be filled and tied with the festive ribbon and a hanging label.

Also got some plain glass jars to fill with them as well for a retro look but haven't thought what else to do with that one, maybe print of some 70s style labels to stick on them or something.

    Hi

I use cello bags and you can get some with lovely Xmas patterns/designs on - usually about £2 for 20 bags and you can get them from party shops. Tie them at the top with some wrapping ribbon and they look great. Google Christmas cello party bags - though they may not be big enough for what you need

Just about to bake and picked out a huge egg from our hens. It weighs 4oz. Those who bake there will know how big that is!

    Ouch

Wow - though for a moment I did think you actually picked it out of the hen's rear end (being that big it had stuck) :rotfl:

And well done on your win - fab prize!
