Has anyone done a chocolate run that is providing an APG yet? I'm shuddering with anticipation at the thought. Woooooo!
  • I'm thinking of making a selection box type equivalent for kids Christmas presents using the small chocolate bars which I bought as fillers and now have a mountain of :D

Does anyone have any good ideas about how to make them look good? I thought about putting them in a cup but not many will fit in. Could put in a sandwich bag with a ribbon but it might look a bit naff :( I can't think of a good way to present them
I've put all my 10p chocolate fillers into a fingers tin and given one each to the grandchildren this year onstead of a selection box

How about getting some red and green felt and making little draw string bags or stockings? Or be totally mse and use old material/ clothes in red gold green etc to make them. Really cheap and quick but cute and could be reused next yr.

I've just phoned Asda & apparently the selection boxes will be 50p after Xmas. They reduced them last night by mistake but the mistake will be rectified tonight so make the most of it while it lasts! Unfortunately my local, Eastleigh, has already pulled them off.
  • If you have huggies wipe cardboard coupons left then this will give you something back on a avs targetted shop.

All the section boxes were sold in my A's by about 45 mins ago. I did get a few gold coins though.

Thanks for letting us know. I should have been quicker! lol
  • Went in to Belfast city centre and had a relatively low spend trip.

    Spent BS joy card.
Lady at counter said "Oh yours is £15"
Me "That's fantastic- thanks very much"
Little did she know the work I had put into that one:rotfl::rotfl:

Off over to Mothercare to get my free Radio Times Snowman activity book - not up to much but free. The best bit about this trip was that I gave a lady beside me the £5 off £25 spend coupon from Radio Times when she was paying. She nearly dropped dead- the poor girl was so pleased and thanks me profusely. I thought girl you have it because I have much bigger fish to fry than a fiver off at Mothercare:D

Off to Marksies for a free coffee-enough stamps collected and scrounged:) Bought one of their calendars at half price.....the family organiser ones- the queue in this department was soooooo long so I nipped down to Lingerie and paid there- no queue.

Had a wee womble in sada on way home - trolley man got there before me but I managed a couple of receipts and choc coins and cadbury wishes all reduced dramatically. Missed the selection boxes.

All in all a good day so far- off to tosco's soon to see if they will take a wad of sada fivers etc:D
