savvy buyer you have put Alot of work into that list it must have taken you ages! I'm sure it will be useful to Alot of people here, thank you! We still don't know much about you though, why not tell us a little about yourself:)

I estimate it'll take about 8 hours in total, including the price collection in M last Wed., hence why it isn't going to be done again v. often...

Actually the price collection in M is only about 2 hours, if trying to do more comprehensive, or a few mins if you go in and look for 8 items cheaper than A and then leave. The checking on MSM to see if other rivals are cheaper takes about the same time (done on a later day). 2 hours on a Wed evening is quite reasonable since sometimes a full weekly shop could take that long. Once you get to A, it only takes about 30 mins to shop, as you aren't trying to compare different size packets in store (which you can't do, as you don't have the background competitor prices).

There are a couple of examples here - for example buy 2x Youngs Seafood Sticks 16s in A, rather than one pack twice the size. Although A's bigger pack is cheaper than 2x A price on the 16, A vs M is cheaper than A's big pack!!!

    Also the Twirls - best buying the four pack vs M's £1 - 10% cheaper =90p, as opposed to the 8pack £2 in A (A v W filler) or T v A £2 or Sains BM vA £2.

Having confused you all, I must now get back to the additional parts of the list. Remember it's only valid if shopping today, 16/12.

Just doing my brother a favour. He sells them at his nursery/small garden centre but is running short of 6 foots so is trimming 7/8 foots. He's scared stiff of chainsaws after seeing someone cut their leg through to the bone in a nasty accident a while ago. Hence he won't do it himself.
Well theres a few quid gone if he charges by the foot!
