Can't agree more. I just got my results for my two shops. Will not post them because I think we all know how much a button bar costs now. :p

Evening. I'm about half way through collating, probably as a one-off, a mainly Av M list for you (and also Tv M for a few items N/A at A).

As always, there are upsides and downsides vs M:

Sada's own price collection is normally done twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday. Since it's only done twice a week, the same list should be valid until Sunday (i.e. 16 December). So you don't have to keep checking MSM on the day you shop, as you do with comparisons vs T, S or W (indeed you can't check M prices on MSM).

The downside is the manual price collection results in items returning N/A. You can contact Sada head office (email via contact us on Sada.com) and they will rectify these things - but this doesn't cover glitch shops and it can take a while before you get the missing amount back, especially if everyone on here tries an M comparison. Therefore please don't all do an M comparison!!!

The M list (once published) will show items that are, currently, cheapest at M rather than T, S or W (or same price as M as the cheapest rival to A). They are my selection of items that, when I was in the M store, looked to me to be good offers of M - thus best bought at A (and then 10% cheaper claim) or T if A doesn't have.

The list will also be able to be used if you're doing an Av T, S or W shop so you can take out any items on the M list that turn out to be cheaper at M than the price at T, S or W to which you'd currently be comparing A. Or for items that you are price-matching T or S to A, as A is showing cheapest on MSM, when in fact Av M would be best as M is cheaper/same price/not 10% more expensive than A.

I can't do this every week, unfortunately, as I don't have the time. I just happen to have the time today. Also remember last year, the price collectors for A did not appear to work on the Christmas holidays and therefore for a week or two the APG site said it couldn't do any comparison at all vs M as the data they'd collected was more than a week old. Therefore, probably riskier next week and the week after. The list I'll hopefully post (in a few hours time) is valid only if you're shopping at A (or a few items at T) on 16 December. There's few items in M which are cheapest there and not sold in either A or T, these are all I buy at M itself!! (Plus short-date things that are reduced price - even though sometimes the reduced prices turn out more expensive than previous offer prices on the same item the previous week. Items whose use by or BB is due up - even the "reduced" price is too expensive for me!!!)

it's just a basic phone and the deal is if you buy it with the O2 sim card it should cost 5gbp(normal price for the phone is 15gbp and 99p for the sim), I got both and got charged 15gbp(only the sim was free, no 10gbp deduction) so in theory you can claim 20gbp dtd and get paid 5gbp to take it away.

Now the O2 app won't work on it(I hoped it will and only realised once I tried) but I put the sim in and then downloaded the app on bf's ipod touch and input the o2 mobile number(they send a text with code to activate the app and you can receive texts without topping up).
So now I'll be able tp get the freebies through the ipod and the phone can just be a spare one(especially if you get paid to have it ;))

    hth

PS. the CS guy seemed to know they don't scan at the offer price before I even spoke up but the promo packs were still at display(the stand alone cardboard ones)

thanks,i assumed it was basic but wondered if i put sim in my galaxy it would let me get offers.i`m not v.tecchie so will give this some thought don`t want to mess up my phone.:)

My Ts had loads of Cadbury Mini Eggs on clipstrips about 2 weeks ago. I thought all my Christmases had come at once and someone had put "old stock" out. So off I went to the scanner hoping for the magic penny price but no they wanted a whole £1.30 I think.
