    ok folks...drumrolllllll.....

    :(:(:(

    the giftsets didnt glitch :(

the vaseline tins showed as n/a against all supermarkets on both reciepts
the Gillette Cool Wave (apologies as I thought it was Nivea!)...showed as n/a against all supermarkets
the only one which I tried which might glitch is the Lynx Africa...this compared £5 V £4 at M and T...... and its not showing in the 2for£8...so theoretically you could get two of the Lynx Africa and it would compare at £10 v £8....but would still be £5.20 for 2 sets :(

All the actual sets both showed at the glitched full amounts on the apg...no multibuy was taken into account...just a shame they didnt compare, especially to Ms where they are so blatantly on offer!

    AvT and AvM
    1 x Lynx for Men Gift Duo - Africa £5.00 £4.00
1 x Vaseline Original Lip Tin Gift Set £6.00 N/A

Unless anyone really needs the giftsets or wants to try something else....I'd advise against it :(

It does look like these have been affected by T going OOS on MSM (see my post no. 3963, para 6 onwards). The Vaseline Original Lip Tin Set is £6 at T (but I'm seeing OOS for T when logged in or out on MSM). The Retro Lip Tin set is A £6 T £4 but T is now OOS according to MSM (logged in or out) and both are OOS when I'm logged in.

As ever glitches can suddenly stop working.

I also cannot emphasise enough the importance of checking MSM immediately before your shop. I mentioned this in another post, in an early morning, saying this would need to be checked again at 7 or 8am in case MSM changed overnight.

For what it may be worth, the Ice Trio is still, as at the time of this post, not showing on MSM (in or out) for me.

Sorry the shop you tried didn't work.

Another bad day for me,last night my ds1 had a party at our house as he is off to thailand to work(he is only nearly 18). anyway when we got home every where was clean and tedy best ever, couple of little things broke, they went upstairs to ds2 room and someone had been through his bag and stole his money out of his wallet, his phone 2 new ipods and an xbox controller, fifa 12 xbox and his docking station, how sick is that two friends are also missing an ipod and an i phone.
ds1 his laptop got trod on so screen has gone and i have a broken pine door on my tv unit.
I did not want him to have it at our house, but got let down at the last minute, nobody has fessed up yet ,so will probably not see any of the again..

That is awful mgamble :( so sad people can't be trusted. I hope you manage to recover something x

Evening all, just popping in briefly between episodes of Lost :D

Had a lovely day, my first ever visit to a hair salon this morning :D have used mam's mobile hairdresser for years but needed a special treat, this year has been particularly difficult for me, what with my uncle's suicide bringing my depression spiralling back... anyway, sorry to bring the mood down.

A family friend is establishing herself as a beauty blogger and held an event today at Canary Wharf with some nice brands sponsoring, including Lush, Lee Stafford & Molton Brown  I was invited to help and after signing guests in and helping sort goody bags, I got one myself :eek: and it's packed with goodies so I feel like I've had lots of gifts today :D I also had a hand massage and OPI manicure whilst I was there so very pampered :j

Am now home and having quality time with my mister as mam is baby-sitting tonight so we're having a Lost-a-thon and nibbling yummies :D will try to catch up tomorrow, belated happy birthday to anyone that's as lucky as me and I'll see ye tomo  xx

me and o/h have a dvd a thon (depends what we watching last was 24 and the thick of it) wehn the kids are at nanas as we dont drink so we get choclates takeaway cola and have quality time i love it

Where have you found these? I looked a few weeks ago and could not find. Had a debate with OH who said they are seasonal, I was sure you could buy all year round but apparently not

A lot fo the corner shops seem to have lots of stock of these. This was a premier shop. I have seen them in the coop as well. I think they are only for Easter. But in retail Easter seems to run for about 6 months. :)

I was contemplating returning a couple of the giftsets seeing as they didnt even compare let alone glitch....then I remembered someone posting about As new T&Cs the other day (when it said we had to wait until 6am the next day).....

I've just checked and it seems some of the bits which were reported as new, have actually stayed.....and that by returning ANY item it invalidates the apg. Now whilst I dont expect the staff will be on the ball about this...I do envisage them being fully trained up if there seems to be a multitude of returns taking place.

I'm saying this as at some stage, be it tonight, tomorrow etc, the choc glitch will end...and if people cannot afford to take the hit, and have to return the items, they may not be able to use the apg (which may have other legitimate purchases which compared ok)...and I wouldnt want anyone to be any extra out of pocket.

So guys and gals....please think carefully before returning any goods if its really the best idea!

    T&Cs..
    13. If an item on a receipt is returned, the return of that item invalidates the corresponding receipt or voucher for the purposes of the ASDA Price Guarantee.
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
