  • Important things first - any sign of snow in NI yet? I bought a sledge last year in anticipation and would you Adam & Eve it, no snow. This year I haven't bought any grit, de-icer, sledges or snow shovels (they're all in storage from last year :o) so hopefully I have un-jinxed things and it'll be a white Xmas :j
Oh the joys of double dinging. Did you ever cover your ticket with candle wax so it could be easily scraped off once dung ?

Forgot to reply to this yesterday - no I was a bit young to be let loose with candles and matches but a handy trick none the less
Tosco's in 'breda stock their turkeys from 19th and m&s fivers start on 19th- now there's a coincidence - I hope they work at tosco.

I can't see why they wouldn't work. Their marketing gumph says they take M&S conditional spends and I would happily argue the point. I had a run in at (surprise surprise) SHill about the co-op £2 off £10 coupons. Blonde trout c/out supervisor came back and said as long as it scans they have to accept it - it did scan which I already knew it would.

Even if it doesn't scan, which it doesn't at the minute (I thought I'd test it the other night and when it didn't work we both 'noticed' the valid from date was the 19th - oopsie lol) I would just have to bring out the big guns and show them their leaflet and/or banners.

Rosie25 - thanks for the PM. The shelf must have been restocked after I left but thank you for the confirmation of location so I know I wasn't going daft!

Evening all. That's me off to finish off my weekend treat (schnapps & lemonade - large glass please barman) then bed for a well deserved lie in. As each year goes by it's getting harder to survive these cold dark winter mornings & evenings :(

    Good Evening :)

Just been to T's and noticed that the Vinnie barrels were £4. However, on msm they are only £3 showing in T. So might be good for a £6.60ish apg.

They are £3 in M's as well

    Hi worrywart:wave:

No snow please-it is nice to look at for a wee while but then causes hassle. If the rain were to continue like it did today I will be canoeing down the lizzy road not sledging.

Up early for sport so I had better turn in as well.

Worked ok for me, although I had finest yorkshire pudding too but only those were finest.

I did an online shop today and the only finest item I had was a stir fry sauce at £1.50. I tried the £2 finest code and it worked :D as did a free delivery code that is supposed to be valid from 17th:D

I bought exactly £10 worth of finest tonight to include 2 boxes of stirfry(£2 each) and finest chicken at £6.

It would only let me use one coupon.

Hi midwinter I hope you are well. I have several layers of wool on. and luckily I do have gas fire. It's going to bed that's the tricky bit. thanks for letting me know about the code.

When I didn't have central heating I found an electric blanket was absolutely fantastic. Maybe look for one in the sales?

I didn't expect t it to work. TBH I was so miffed at not getting out to use my coupons I tried every single code I could find on here and on the dark side to make me feel better:rotfl: My shop was £68 and I saved £8.50 in money and got 325 CC points using various codes. Not great it it made it sting a little less
