    Evening all!

I went to spend my £15 :T Joy Card today on lip balms in the BS, I wanted to get 8 of the born lippy pots as they are £2 each and just about the only item not grossly overpriced compared to other shops!

The lovely lady showed me a gift set with 5 lip balms for £10 so same price as buying 5 and boxed in the shape of a big lollipop, would make a nice gift if you are giving your BS stuff for pressies!

    :j:j:j
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

sorry for the late reply...its taking me ages to catch up :o

I got a letter through the post a couple of weeks ago saying they were adding £3.75 to my bill each month starting end of January :(

Im with Sky for everything and not joking our bill was £80/90 per month and we went all the way to actual cancelation and we had to phone them - but we now pay £45 for everything -given we live in the sticks and don't get fibre optic - its a fab deal - I truly recommend sticking it out all the way to the end no matter who you are with and getting the best deal poss - just keep chipping away at each new person you get on the phone :)

Did my usual Friday night Tosco run earlier and got my shop down from £78 to £27.....gosh I used to spend a fortune on food - that is definitely a thing of the past. High quality low cost shopping is the norm now- got woopsies in that too:)

    Thanks again my friends.

How on earth did you manage that?:T

For anyone who recently cancelled sky. There doing 4 months free tv with free movoes and sports channel no contract no cost at all if you cancel with in the 3rd free month. Valid till 30th.

Thank you - I am currently serving my notice (from a six months completely free offer) ... how do you get this deal please?

We also have Virgin Media (hence didn't need Sky at all, but they got desperate and offered 6 months completely free, so rude not to!). The VM price is going up but I see someone managed to negotiate their way out of the increase - will give them a call as got a letter at the end of last month putting our package up £5+. If I can get the price rise reversed, I will then go for their £120 pay a year in advance for the telephone line rental which will lock in a greater discount .

I am just catching up as have been in ELITE detox for the past week due to having too many FF and MTs ... okay, untrue, the games offer at Ms came up which has kept me very occupied :T. That has sadly come to an end :(, so back here for my latestAs/Ts fix ;).

It included things like 5 sada fivers, several sada Apg's one of which was for £10.20:eek:,a finest coupon, a dairy coupon and a couple of things that came in the post (one was £1 if you spend blah blah on finest chicken).

I could have got it down more with more sada fivers and more sada wombles- didn't want to push my luck:)
