IT was the fabreeze spray air freshner i have been getting the candel, but was just pleased it worked onthe self scan i had a box of crakers and some spaghetti total 7.15 - 2 coupons 5.15 hth:T

    Thanks :)

I got trouted on Monday doing this. I had 2 candles and tried to use 4 and I had 5 Lenors. She authorised two candle coupons as I has scanned the other two before it required help. She then looks and says why is there 4 on the screen then. I told her I had started on my lenors coupons. So had to grab back two lenor vouchers from her to shut her up.

She was very rude as soon as it called her over and start huffing and puffing. So she is now going to be getting all my coupons when she is on tills again. :D

The ones she refused I took to CS and they did then for me and gave me the money. :)
  • They are perfect for the job my dear........only thing is they leave the screen a bit streaky:D

Can I ask what magazine the Finest coupons come from. Please Thank you :)
  • This isn't a glitch so please forgive me, but it's that time of year when a lot of us are looking for a nice bit of smoked salmon. Last Christmas [STRIKE]I gave you my heart[/STRIKE] I treated our family to smoked salmon from M&S. Yes it was very nice, but not much of it for the money even though it was on offer.

I've found the supermarket own brands can be a bit iffey. I've had Tesco and Asda and had like grisly bits in it. doesn't seem to be cut from the best part of the fish, more towards the fins.

This year I have bought a load from waitrose and can really recommend it:

Waitrose Scottish Smoked salmon 400g on offer at £6.99 from £13.99. That's £17.48/kilo.

Sainsburys cheapest is to buy the 120g packs on 3 for £10, but this works out at a whopping £27.78/kilo

Tesco have Finest smoked salmon 300g half price at £7.50 thats £25.00/kilo. May be worth considering if using Finest vouchers. But still nearly 50% more per kilo than Waitrose.

Asda at moment have Asda Smoked salmon 200g 3 for £10.00 which works out at £16.67/kilo.

Hi DbN and welcome to the elite.
You are a really funny guy and it is lovely to have you here with us.
It is interesting, the way you post reminds me of another recent newbie as you both have very similar characteristics.
You are not related to Savvybuyer are you? The way you have posted so far, you could be twins..;)

Hi everyone - quick question - I used an Asda £5 off WYS at Tesco Extra as per publicity 2 weeks ago. Been in today and been told they don't take them - asked SA to check and gestured to superviser behind him who said no. I know that APGs not accepted but thought WYS was ok?

Just wanted to check here first as I haven't seen it 'finish' but I did miss 20 pages on this thread last week..... Happy to call HO if I'm right but will save the time if I've missed something - can anyone help, is your tesco still honouring asda WYS?

NB Got Lego Lord of the Rings Wii game in Asda for £20 - good price and Lets Dance 4 for £18. As you can see using my apgs and WYS for Xmas.

Just to confirm again that Sally Hanson working today. Also if doing a A v S shop Loyd Grossman pasta sauce £1 at S - useful filler. £1.98 at Asda (but don't buy 2 as 2 for £2 offer).
