I must add a clause to this though as the thread has many newbies on here. Although Tosco policy is to give DTD, there have been occasions where it has been taken all the way to the CEO and after investigations, which are not nice, refusal of DTD due to deliberately targeting it.
You can of course always play the innocent card, but sometimes, like when buying several of one item, it's quite obvious to them.
Your only course after this is to report them to Trading standards who, in my experience, are as much use as a chocolate teapot vs. such a large organisation. :AI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

afternoon folks
just catching up ...been out for most of the day...and have a numb bum from sitting on a kids chair watching DD1 xmas play
just a note for David. about Virgin....I rang last week to see if I could get a better deal...apparently they cant give me Sky Movies cheap as they have to pay full price from Sky...and they wont reduce any of my other charges to keep me as a customer so I gave them my 30 days notice
I have 10mb bb, XL tv and free wknd phone package...for £43....but will increase by £3.75 in Feb
The chap I spoke to said that in jan and Feb, everyones broadband speed is being doubled at no extra cost....so if you currently get and pay for 30mb...why not ask to drop it to 15 or 20mb to get a discount...then in a couple of months it will be doubled anyway, so you'll still get what you're getting now, but for less money!
I cant get mine any cheaper it seems, and Sky cannot match what I pay, so unless Virgin offer me something, I will be 'changing my mind' about the cancellation in a few weeks
hope everyone is well and taking care in the not so nice weather conditionshoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

Let it cancel, a month later they send letter offering 75% for twelve months. However before that they will ring offering other deals...SIMPLES!0
