Hi.
I phoned sky the other night to cancel my package (£37) because we don't watch all the channels and because we have been having a lot of trouble with the box.
They spent 30mins persuading me not to cancel, which I haven't yet as 'I am thinking about their offer'.
They offered to replace my box with a refurbished sky+ box with the sky+ subscription for 12 months or to send an engineer for free to fix my box.
Do you think these are the best offers I will get as I really wanted to lower my monthly payment.
We are unable to get freeview or cable so sky is the only option.

You wouldnt be lowering your subscription if you went the Sky + route. All you would end up doing is recording stuff that you dont watch anyway.
We down graded a couple of months ago and the only channel we have missed was Sky Sports and that was when the Cricket World Cup was on.
We have opted for Freeview upstairs and will eventually get rid of the Sky box downstairs once we have managed to sort our aerial out to get all the channels.:dance: "Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion". _party_0
