this is true also but in my case the pollen filter for my make and model of car is £49.00 inc vat, so i choose to remove it hoover it use a bit of carpet spray mousse on it to lift the ingrained dirt in it wipe it over dry it then put it back in its now falling appart though so will have to replace it at some stage not yet though.

COnsider using 1Kg of silica gel in a breathable bag. It will absorb a huge amount of moisture (I regularly carry a wet dog, and it works for me).

Dry it out on a radiator once a week.
I didn't know a wet dog was so useful, I'll have to get me one of those. :D

And can you really dry them out on a radiator? :rotfl:

With some cars the bond around the windscreen cracks at the bottom. Not much anyone can do about that is there. I have two cars that both suffer from this and both get moisture on the inside because of it. One of them had so much moisture up inside the room it was dripping down into the switches next to the sunroof switch and randomly un/locking the car :o
  • Of course I don't drive with the front window misted! - it's the side ones that are more of a pita.

Ah ..............I think I've come across you on the road, many times ! - any other vehicles on the road, which are not directly in front of you, don't exist !!!
  • Susie, did you say you have a guide dog?

You gathered wrong. Plus I set off and return home in the dark so cannot find the cause of the problem till I have daylight. Not a bodge in sight.

The side windows do clear BUT re mist very soon after getting in the car. I am fully aware of other drivers all round me tyvm. It's a pity some others are not as aware! Usually male Audi, BMW and Merc drivers in such a hurry they cut me up! :D

    Fear not - I'm boarding a Guide dog I don't use one! :D
