Castle Cover just lost my custom!

I have my house insurance with Castle Cover and have had nothing but phone calls from them for weeks as it is due for renewal. Don't these Companies realise the more they hassle a customer the less chance of them renewing. I'm certainly not using them again now out of principle as I told them to stop phoning after about the fourth call. Just had them on yet again, this time I'm told they can't stop phoning me as my details are constantly relooped to retentions! After a rant, she then said if you give me your house number and postcode I'll mark the policy as naturally finishing and not renewing! She then blamed me for the calls for not telling them I was not renewing with them!! Have never had hassle like this from other companies.

    I'm with you on this. My willingness to do business with a company is in inverse proportion to the amount of annoyance they cause me. It applies to unwanted phone calls and spam emails as well.

    They must generate enough business from these approaches to make if worthwhile to them, but you have to wonder at the mentality of someone who wants something from you thinking that antagonising you is the best way to get your goodwill.
