Rampsbeck hotel, it's on Ullswater. I managed to get it for £169 a night which initially is a lot, but that includes a 5 course meal at a 3AA rosette restaurant. Almost everywhere in the lakes is £90-£110 a night without food so I'm thrilled with this.

Morning all. To me I'm sure it must be nearly lunchtime since Grace kindly woke me up at 4.05.

Bit of mom advice please? Grace has started rolling over in her crib, she does it many, many times a night, usually then starts yelling and I turn her back onto her back (she can do 360 rolls in the day so no idea what puts her off at night), but last night she did it after I put her down, I turned her back, she did it again but didn't yell and fell asleep on her front, face completely down not the side. I panicked so much that she'd have suffocated. Does anyone else's baby roll onto their front and any ideas how to stop it so I don't worry about her not breathing?

Just for a tiny bit more hotel lust, this is where I booked for the last night in Greece, thought Grace would like it.

I hope so, I remember going to the lakes with mum and Gran when I was little, while I don't expect Grace to remember this trip will still be lovely for all of us.

The hotel just called to say they don't allow little ones in the private dining room, are we going to leave her in the room with a baby monitor, which I balked at, so they're going to set us up in a private dining room

We are going to the lake district next April for my cousins wedding and Poppy is flower girl.

My parents have just arrived at their hotel in Mauritius. I'm not jealous at all.

Oh and when Poppy started rolling i tried turning her back onto her front but she just kept turning so as long as she can get back i wouldn't worry. Poppy sleeps on her front most the time now. If you are worried think you can get bumper type thingsyou can put either side to stop her rolling?
