Insurance for Airports

Hi All,

I am struggling to find an insurance company who will cover me for parking my car 3 nights a week in a airport car park.

Can anyone offer any advise? I cannot believe that I am the only person in the UK that does this week in week out.

Or do all the other million or so people not disclose this? Do I have to keep quiet about it an pretend it is not happening?

Any help is gratefully received.

Well my car insurance is up for renewal, I thought I would be honest thinking it would be cheaper. But they wont renew the policy with it being parked up for so long and so offen.

I have called a few places now an got the same response.

Mine's parked in the office car park/on my drive whenever I'm away, as the office is near Gatwick and I live near Stansted. For anything Heathrow, I leave it in a pub car park, as OH runs a bar from part of the unit.

Are you not in the position to come to an agreement with a pub?

Well I don't see why I should to be honest when Heathrow have prefectly good multi storey carparks right by the terminals.

I would say its less likely to be pinched from there than a pub carpark.
