can i record music from my SKY+ box

Hiya guys, i reguarly record a radio show on sky+....is there any way recording it to cd, i have a laptop with a cd\dvd re-writer

It could be considered illegal, copyright laws and all that.

You would need to get the output from the sky+ box in to your laptop. I have done it in the past from a video and dvd player just hook the audio outputs up to the line in on the laptop and I used some software to record whatever was comming in to the audio in.

Little John's solution is probably the easiest way, but the quality would suffer slightly as your recording the actual music through your sound card.

There are ways to capture the MEPG2 stream which would allow you to rip the sound track from it. But the solution would require a digital tv card in your computer.
