Some several users this time last year had a debate, amongst other things about price. I pointed out at the time JETA1 [Jet & Helicopter Fuel] and other derivatives from 'flying clubs and airports' making the point that the retail brand 'Paraffin-Extra' was classed as heating oil @ 5% VAT and the Tozane and B&Q brand were non heating oil @ 20%.
I notice one online company is offering 128p per litre delivered in £200 quid purchases - that's cheap - its £1.80 per litre in smaller quantities in this and other e-tailers also add on a delivery charge. Tozane & Paraffin-Extra are the same low odour, ultra low sulphur ROLF paraffin, just different from the HMRC point of view.
NOTE01 : be careful to tick the 48 hour delivery (FREE) button !
NOTE02 : small users can get 16 litres delivered free for £28.80 or 32 litres delivered free for £57.60 @ £1.80pl.
