Hi,
My taskbar has went very weird.
You know the taskbar (the one that shows all the programs that you are running) it has went to the far right instead of near the start bar
I really don't know what has happened
If anyone knows and can help please say!!
Thanks;)

You should be able to drag it back.
Hold the mouse pointer over an empty part of the taskbar (eg the middle) hold down the left mouse button and drag it back to the bottom of the screen.
To lock it at the bottom of the screen so it won't happen again, right click on the taskbar and choose the "Lock the taskbar" option.0 -
I have tried whta you have said.
Turbobob It hasn't came away from the toolbar, the programs that are running have moved to the right instead of being near the start bar0 -
Are you using win98 by any chance?
I had this happen without any obvious reason with win98. No matter how I dragged it to the left, it always jumped back to the right as if something (invisible) was already there.
It was only cured when I reformatted to sort a serious problem.
Are you using the Quick Toolbar i.e.the option to have desktop/mail/browser etc always available, next to the start button?Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Hi there again
I'm using Windows XP by the way
It has changed again, I dragged it and now it shows double. EG. 2 internet explorers when I only have one.
I'm really confused0 -
Finally, I have fixed it, all I did was move something around and now it is back to normal
THANKS TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT HAS HELPED ME!!!
Thanks again

Check if you've enabled the "Desktop" and "Quick Launch" toolbars in the taskbar. Try disabling them (right click on taskbar --> Toolbars --> untick) and see if that helps. The true cost of something is what you give up to get it.0
