are you unemployed ? I think its £5 per week that is supposed to be paid, are you still living in the family home ?0

Yes I am still in the family home and on IB atm so is she making a fraudulent claim?0

I'm confused. You are living in the same house as your ex? With 4 out of 5 of your children? Is the other child too old, or live elsewhere? Usually when a couple are living in the same house but are no longer a couple, there CAN be a claim for Income Support, BUT there CANNOT be a claim for maintenance as there is no NON resident parent. Is that the situation?0

My ex is claiming IS and HB and CTC the eldest lives elsewhere. So yes we are both resident in the same house.
I cant find out whether she is claiming for me being there or not. Im claiming IB and thats all, what puzzles me is Im sure we could be receiving more money if she was honest.0 -
In which case there is no claim for the CSA to be made as you are still living in the same house. Unless you have another ex to whom you are paying maintenance?0

Nope I married for life
She married until i started complaining that she was lazy.
So what should I do?
I have spoken with the CSA and they said they would investigate but its been 4 months now.0 -
I would get back on to the CSA ~ surely someone has noticed that you have the same address ?!?!?

cooperbob I think you should do a bit of digging and make sure your ex has a joint claim for the housing and council tax benefit, by the looks of it she is claiming as a single parent on her own, you dont want to get in trouble0

I am curious as to how you think you would both get more money if she was honest?
Surely if you had split up, her finances would be not really any of your business?0 -

No I dont even think she has me listed as living here, she wont let me pay towards any bills, Ive been in touch with council who told me that we would get more if she was .
But I never see any letters from the council to her so they maybe are asking her questions she isnt answering.
She has had me removed from the electoral register even.
What is that all about?0
