Hello,

My OH employer (which are the largest health care provide in Scotland, so I am sure you can guess who it is). He posted somethings via a "page" (A Rangers football club page, nothing to do with work), which his work are claiming are seegarten. I don't believe they are personally.

The only proof they have that they came from him, are the fact that the post said <page name> <then the comment > / david. He did not detail his surname just his first name. As you can imagine they have no proof it came from there employee, expect the complaint that either a member of public or a work colleague.

However they are properly going to try and sack him next week, where do you think he stands?

    did he do it?

Dont fully understand your post above, or what it is he has done, but they are not a court of law, they dont have to show proof, if they have a reasonable suspicion he has done something which he should not have done, then they can take action

At a guess I'd take seegarten for sectarian?

    Beat me to it.

And I don't like to point this out but you have just identified the employer on a public forum. How many disciplinary actions of this type do you think they have this week? And you also admitted he posted it! Way to go! You do know what a cache is? What you just said is there somewhere, for a long time, even if you edit it now!

if he was at work and accessing non work related pages, this is his first problem. If he has posted sectarian rubbish then he will probably be out the door. They can prove it because it will be through his log in on the computer.
